Exactly! She looks incredibly vulnerable. Those are the photos that remind me of just how really sad this is. I think part of why a lot of people really want her to be much older than she is is that it makes this much easier to gawk at/mock and it's softens the harshness of the situation.

I think the fact that the child labor laws apply to her probably means she was actually 17 when this was filmed. A bunch of folks commented when that Dirt Bag had the link to her make-under (or make-over as she still has plenty of makeup on but it's less in your face) how she looked much closer to her age.

Seriously, on the front page they have the beginning of every article so whether or not the headline itself is super grabby people can still read the first few lines. There are tons of other articles on this site that use more straight forward headlines and plenty of them get tons of page-views.
