And it can leave a nice scent on your clothing (which is the complete opposite of cigarettes). Apparently my beau's coworkers often compliment his scent on days where we've hookah'd before he's gone to work.

Hmm, I hookah fairly regularly and never pair it with alcohol. The few times I hookah at a hookah lounge as opposed to the house I tend to choose the hookah places that don't serve alcohol (less loud and obnoxious). I'm a lightweight so I think I'd get a bit ill if I were drinking and hookahing, I can't even smoke…
Yes, but this site has made it clear in the recent past that there's less of an interest in older commenters/readers and more of an interest on having a large influx of new readers. New readers don't know what this site as extensively written about nor who guest edited about a year+ ago.
I read about a product, Mixed Silk Curly Gel, that sounds like it might be helpful to you with your hair texture. That brand also makes creams and other products that'd be helpful while doing the twists (although I'm assuming that since your hair is fine it can't handle too much product, right?)
I recently did the big chop (Thursday!) and I love looking at Solange's natural hair because her texture is similar to mine (although her coils look a little looser. I still need more time to really figure out my own texture, too). It feels good to see some celebrities with similar hair textures, for inspiration at…
That's actually the most perfect comparison I've heard yet.
Ha, I definitely see it. It's the smile and the effect his smile has on his cheeks/jaw/eyes.
I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure that's a wig. She often rocks braid extensions/wigs/weaves as well as her own natural hair. Also, if your hair is kind curly try putting in a bunch of twists one evening and then unraveling them the next morning (twist-out!), you might get a similar look.
Now that sounds really cool.

Ha, that's like some Where's Waldo stuff. I didn't even see the dog and it took me a moment to spot him even after I was actively looking for him.
I was wondering why no one had commented on her! She looks absolutely stunning. She's beautiful either way, but the weight definitely suits her. She's gorgeous.
Honestly, though, they should be a Summer franchise. Or just keep coming out in March like the first one. Why must I wait more than a whole year and a half. Those bastards sucked me in and are now teasing me (all of us!). Harry Potter never did this to me (actually...maybe they did? But, I'm pretty sure from the…
Well, let's hope Amy Winehouse didn't become a butterfly, as they have pretty short life spans.
Your entire comment is unsound and therefore irrelevant because what you're basing it on is false. I'm a first generation Jamaican-American. Obviously Black to anyone who sees me. If you disagree with my, and many other Black and non-Black folks, belief of racism and anti-Blackness then you disagree with that. But…
I can kind of understand the Rihanna thing, she just found out her grandmother died! That's part of why she was so severely under the influence. And the Norway thing was because she was recently in Oslo, apparently it was the show before this one. So being under extreme grief, high/drunk, constantly traveling, and…
Exactly. Also, if you make a "your mom" joke, there's a good chance the rebuttal will involve the original insulter's mom. It's just the way the dozens tend to work.
For some reason it won't let me edit. I meant "thing" instead of "think".
I actually really can't stand this video (watched it in the Dirtbag post). I thought I'd like it, but I didn't. Even though I didn't care for it, I still got this sense of happiness watching it. A lot of people think she's being pimped out, but I think she's having fun. If I were the daughter of two celebrities then I…
