I don't understand the dark brown blush..It doesn't contour her face, it just makes it look a bit dirty.

God, Tati really was stupid-beautiful. That is just the best description.
It's up now, I finished it and am now watching untucked!
Oh my goodness, that's amazing!!!!
Well my homemade hair oil is water, peppermint oil, and ROSEMARY oil! So...score, I guess.
I guess so, I didn't watch the whole show and I didn't get what you're getting from just the clip. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just am not seeing quite what you're seeing. But, we all perceive things differently, you know?
I'm doing a study for BDD, although my therapist and I have decided it's more like a subclinical body dysmorphic preoccupation (or something like that, don't quite remember all the words). From what I understand from the literature I've had to read this woman doesn't seem to fit under BDD, although she definitely is…
That's so weird, I checked it right before I posted it but now it's not working. I hope you were able to find it with Krystal Kairi's suggestion, it really is a good read.
Color Lines had an interesting article on this a few days ago [colorlines.com]
Oh my goodness, you are right. I am mixing it up with other schools! There are some schools that share names with elite universities (like, for example, I believe there's a Columbia College that is not connected to the university).
Ha, that's what I figured. Note to self: Go with your instincts.
What is the Orange Curtain?
Seriously. We were quite misled.
You got me excited thinking they'd be actually fashion spreads. This was the most disappointing thing I've seen all day (maybe because I've only been awake for about 2 hours collectively, so I haven't been up long enough to be thoroughly disappointed by anything else).
Oh wow, I didn't realize that! And, if I'm not mistaken, she totally touted being a graduate of Harvard, without making it clear that she went to Harvard College. It's a small thing, but it's clear everyone's going to think you mean the university when you say you graduated from Hah-vard
Yeah, I think the Black women were really strong women and were amazing characters in their own right (as is so often in these stories that are mainly focused on the White girl perspective). Plus, I loved the book in middle school, I wasn't so surprised that I adored the movie.
Love. That. Movie. Whenever Ryan Gosling does his dopey little grin now all I can think about is his geeky dancing from Remember the Titans. In Drive he does the dopey grin SO OFTEN, so I spent a quarter of that movie playing Remember the Titans in my head.
It's all related. Black people are often not getting cast in roles that would be Oscar bait because they don't seem marketable enough to the producers/writers/etc. That is racism. It's all connected. Your response answered your own question, really.
Preach on!!!!
I would like a Charmed movie. They can take the plot from the comics. Very little focus on all of the children, just focus on the sisters kicking ass and taking names. Other than that, no TV series movies please.
