I am super curious about the demographics of who buys STI’s.  Does a two door make any sense from a business standpoint?

I think the problem here is that you can’t actually market this thing to people who don’t know about cars. There’s no wool-pulling. It’s not like the Urus (I finally have an excuse to drive a Lambo!) or some heritage-laden tweedmobile (Careful with the Jag, darling).

Great car. Driven one for the past 8 years.
That said, they are getting progressively uglier.

You can commute in the ITR, but it would actually get a bit tiring by modern standards. There’s virtually no sound deadening and the engine is not awake at normal RPMs. And on the highway, you’re cruising at close to 5,000 RPM. Ok this makes me feel a little better, because I really want this wheel from the GTI ClubSport in my GTI -

He tried to memorize all their current models, causing a hard crash and requiring a reboot.

Conjecture from having just having bought a car with a weird infotainment screen:

Dave, you need to take your car to Jim Lindsey at Lindsey Automotive.

Or at least not totally classless.

Contrary to popular belief, the answer is this: they work really, really hard over a long period of time.
