I just played it through, and promptly returned it minutes ago, and just found your post. Not because of some harsh reaction, more that I thought it didn’t wrap up in any coherent or thoughtful way. Whether he and Coda are the same person or not (TSP came out a couple years after the last “game” so the timeline fits)

4. The DC environment is based on a real place. And not just a few buildings, either. An entire metroplex. There’s a lot of attempts to recreate the feel of a civilization in games, but you can’t duplicate from scratch the organic way a real life city grows and evolves over decades. I came to the same conclusion, after trying to explore freely on the way to New Vegas, and quit. Nothing was sucking me in. I kind of painted myself into a corner somehow too, and ended up with barely any ammo, ragged guns, and Deathclaws and Romans spawning all around me. Plus, the color palate got old much faster.

At least he signaled.
