I just realized that if Jalopnik covered cars and dogs in one blog, I probably wouldn't visit any other website ever.

I totally read today's post titles too fast and saw: "How One Man Used a Butt Plug to Prevent Nuclear Armageddon".

"Hot hatches" are cool alternatives to the midsize SUV craze, in my opinion, space wise. There is just that stigma of a "kid's car" that goes with them. But I decided on a VW CC because it has the same engine and nearly the same handling as a GTI, but is way classier. Also nice for clients and family: Cadillac CTS

The stock wheels on I think the 2010 and later GTI are downright wicked (5 spoke alloy, round holes). Be sure to check them out first!

I would only recommend a Jeep Anything to someone I secretly hated, and wished years of expensive repairs upon. I have heard nothing but bad things about Wranglers and Grand Cherokees. And yet people still love them, why? They are the Alfa Romeos of the truck world, I guess.

PC performance, to me, has always been about finding the bottlenecks, kind of like his eating analogy. For a long time that was the hard drive, but SSDs fixed that. So to take this tip a bit further, since hyperthreading organizes the tasks for the processor to do, where does all that backup sit? First the

Holy hell, you can buy 1 of every muscle car ever made for the price of that thing. Amalgamation of muscle cars indeed!

Tappan Zee Bridge, NY. I guess they are making a new one next to it, finally, but you drive over that thing now and you start thinking about how well you can swim. It isn't rare to see maintenance going on that involves making actual person-sized holes through to below.

Exactly. Hypercars literally seem as if they are going faster when driven completely legally.

Turning left = crossing traffic = yield. Crossing traffic should always yield, but in the general NYC area I certainly see a lot of the "I dare you to hit me" turns and rolling stops, like this fool in the sedan. But also it looks like the Lambo actually swerves to try and get in front of him, when they clearly

Engine in the back made it back-heavy, probably bent the platform down with its leverage and it rolled right off :(

The catch: It only plays HL3.

Those steam sales are like a drunk night out in Vegas sometimes.

I need this kind of organization. Just the other day, I joined this infamous club:

Been saving this gif for the right moment, I think this warrants it.

I guess my first reaction was: why speed it up at all, especially if you are showing off your driving and your time? Someone showing off a track lap would never do that. I'm suspicious.

Amen to that. The cross westchester too, it's a full blown highway with a speed limit of 45. 45!! And of course everyone goes 70.

Except, the video is sped up, so there is no accurate sense of time. What evidence is there he broke any records, let alone any laws?

What's the car in 24? Modified R8 with a roof canopy?

There is a lot of focus these days on taking your skills that were developed in 10 or more years at a company and going consultant.
