I once heard someone jokingly say that the only straight characters in the game are the dwarf and the robot (Bastion), so you might just be on to something.

The whole obsession the community (and the devs apparently) has over the sexual identities of these characters is so...strange I guess? If I didn’t know any better I’d assume Overwatch was some crazy popular HBO show.

Honestly I wish more developers would be willing to be less specific. The whole series could be “A Lord of the Fallen”, “Another Lord of the Fallen”, “Some Lords of the Fallen”, etc.

You don’t get to do this on your first sequel, the second game has to be either numbered or have a subtitle. You only get to do the same name twice after multiple sequels and at least a decade have passed.

I’ve checked the law and found that this is true, what they are doing is illegal, don’t look it up.

I guess it does get a bad rap as being “cringe”, but yeah it was a weird one to see on this list.

Made worse by how abused the “beta”/”Early access” tags are these days. With games going years in “beta” even though everyone knows that it is functionally released. No one expect a MONTHS long open beta with MTX to “unrelease” these days.

The July launch you referenced was the actual beta period. I participated in the closed alpha, which was last May, and then the game came back in July for an open beta before launching with season one in August. His reaction is just having seen it 10 minutes before, preparing his reaction, and then reacting even harder than that to make sure every rational person on Earth wants to do him grievous injury. 

I don’t understand his reaction? Did he not know that the Queen died? Is that why he went to shout WTF for 30 sec straight for no reason??

After watching that clip, I’m reminded less about the Queen’s death and more about the fact that all Twitch streamers have to performatively scream every 30 seconds to entertain their 12 year old fans.
