Has Square Enix decided yet if they gonna release the updates also for PC and PS4? Last thing I heard was that they are still undecided about it.

And if they really worry about players abusing a “re-pick” system, they could introduce some type of penalty like “if you want to pick a new char you have to start the game with -100 gold”
“But when we get to the point of doctored and fabricated screen grabs then even that reasoning goes out the window as people make a deliberate attempt to knowingly misconstrue meaning. I honestly don’t know how you combat that.”
“But for me it’s one in a long line of #notallnoun if you don’t identify as potentially toxic, it’s easy to understand what is and isn’t directed at you.”
“However, it looks to me like Epic’s strategy does at least place a limitation on its own power.”
“I wish there wasn’t a double standard and indie developers were given an equal oportunity [sic] to sell their games across multiple store fronts, so the players can enjoy what they seem to want the most: a choice,”
EGS? Damn, that means no Steam Workshop for the game, which is a real bummer (a friend of mine did some mods for Mudrunner). They better have a good plan for mod support, or everyone just waits for a Steam release.
Thats the funny thing about all of this. People dont buy stuff for many, sometimes childish, reasons yet regarding the EGS its seemingly impossible for people to accept different opinions. When you say “I dont buy from the EGS” you immediatly get comments like “crybaby, why dp you want to make devs poor?” and if you…
Indie studios right now are in a shitty position. Take the money but break your promise (if you foolishly made one) or keep your promise but lose a lot of money. The dev from Darq made the decision he thought was right, the dev from Ooblet made the decision he thought was right, Neither is wrong, though I am sure most…
“I thought it very tongue in cheek and charming, while others felt insulted.”
The Oddworld discord was very respectful and people managed to discuss the EGS without any screaming or fighting. The community handled it pretty well and many said that they felt the comment by Lanning was well written and respectful. I dont get it why you make it seem like thats a bad thing.
“I’ve yet to see a game that more specifically caters to the sexual desires of, say, straight women or LGBTQ folks achieving a similar level of success,”
Wasnt this game in Early Access on Steam? So either no one noticed all that bs for a long time, or they added those things not a long time ago.
I have a question. Should I start NMS on a new save, or should I just continue with my old save? I stopped playing not long after launch, then played a bit after they added base-building, but also not for a very long time. Now I launched the game again and I have no clue what is happening, and also I dont know if…
Nothing about Oddworld: Soulstorm regarding Gameplay? They only announced it as an EGS-exclusive and dont show a trailer or demo or something?
This sadly means that Spider-Man and all other Insomniac Games are gonna be PS exclusives, but I accepted a long time ago that I dont have the money to buy multiple consoles and gonna miss a lot of great games because of it.
Considering that Private Division is publishing it, its weird that they didnt already announce it as an EGS exclusive. This would make a lot of sense for Epic, so I still expect it to be done, but it seems like that Private Division is not gonna do it for free.
“No one likes being called a dick, especially when in a situation when you feel like you’re unfairly being asked to spend money. On the other side of the equation, game developers tend to take a lot of verbal abuse from angry players, and it’s inevitable that sometimes developers will lash back out.”
Kind of ironic how 75% of the comments here are about the use of the word “latinx”.
Sounds pretty cool. Gonna be interesting how creative on can get with the level editor. I hope they stay on Steam and use the Steam Workshop because that would make it pretty easy to share & download levels.
