“He closed things out with an attempt at putting it all in perspective, saying that while seeking out reasons to be angry and venting anger is “cathartic and natural,” there are other things in the world that might be “just a tad more worthwhile to be upset about.”
There are a lot of interesting debates about what exactly caused the Holodomor and who played a role in it.
“he criticized Creative Assembly for seeming to remove a mod from Steam that replaced character portraits with hypersexualized women.”
This ”International Champions Cup” takes itself way too seriously. The only reason it exist is because those clubs want to remind rich Americans that they should spent some money in the online shop. The travel, no time to train, the jetlag, its just frustrating for the coach and the players.
There have been some stupid and controversial VAR decisions, but overall VAR hasnt been as bad as many think it is, and more often than not, VAR has made the right decision. But VAR still has to improve quite a lot. Most bad VAR calls are because of the refs and the rules, not because of VAR itself.
Paying the devs just to prevent Index support is just a dick move tbh.
tbf, for many small european sport clubs selling ad space is absolutely necessary. Of course the big and rich clubs, who all have rich owners, dont need it but still do it.
“tool for players to let their creativity and imagination run free as they build their very own Stories to share with others,”

There are so many games on Steam, I often wondered how many good games I missed because of it. I already found some games I never heard of before. Of course only time will tell how good this thing will be, but for now it looks promising.

Why should Valve change anything as long as they think it works? They think, that the games will eventually reach Steam anyway, so expect that they lose some money in the first year of a game release, nothing bad is happening to them. (Thats what I think Valve thinks, that not my opinion)
A bit weird that this article doesnt mention that they did not offer refunds initially, which made a lot of people angry.
As a non-american. The 2020 election will be even worse than 2016, right? How on earth can you guys deal with this every four years?
Sadly it gets even dumber. The dude could post without any approval needed. What a bunch of idiots. Wouldnt be suprised if Portnoy himself put Ellis on that “no approval needed” list.
Bought some games during the Summer Sale (old games that got heavily discounted not the new Triple-A ones) but first I am gonna finish TRI (no damn idea how long it will take)
Its okay, I just explained how sales work, because from your post it looked like you didnt know how they work. I didnt know that you were disappointed and just wanted to rant a bit because no game you wanted got a good discount during summer sale. Definitely disappointing for you, but thats just how life is sometimes.
