I thought it was incredibly awkward. Clancy Brown played a guy mind-controlled (the general) and had this distant stare that worked. Cavanagh plays Grodd in the flesh. It's weird.

This show is turning into something like LOST for kids (and grown-ups). I watched this last episode with my kids and we all agreed it was the best episode of anything we've ever seen. Which says a lot because it's competing with our love of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
