Having never seen the voice behind Trevor, I was surprised at the likeness to the in-game character. Also, if this hadn't been an organized social gathering, I'd probably piss myself if that guy came at me like that :) .

I don't think the shadow on the man in the black suit is that of anyone in the picture. There's quite a gap between the far left man and the man standing next to him, so it could be one of the crew accompanying the inspection or whatever this event was. It could be something else entirely. This looks like it was shot

It should also be noted that the men are standing on an unpaved road and are wearing business shoes. Notice the 3rd guy from the left, his shoe is leaning into the shallow groove in the ground. Also notice the glow from the surrounding area bleeding into the clothing of the men (military guy on the right around the

I have to agree. The reason it looks superimposed is probably because of the use of the flash. I see sunlight on the guy on the far right (shoulder, pants), I see his leg making a shadow on the ground behind him, there's sunlight on Kim's shoe, if you look closely. What are those arrows supposed to be pointing at?

When the rapping bit came on I started laughing uncontrollably. It was absurd before, then it went to 11. This kind of stuff isn't worth killing oneself over. Killing others? Sure...

Enjoyed the commentary. The game looks neat.

AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... it hurts so much!!

The Drill Sergeant voice-over made me cringe... The two versions certainly are indicative of the culture they're selling to.

Reminds me of Yoda.

Let's hope not. I think it'd be a terrible practice, if they were offsetting color to account for how today's HD TVs reproduce colors. I'm not an expert on these things (don't even own a TV :) ), but I imagine the image quality over the coming years is going to get better and better (OLED), while the source picture

Short of looking at he original animation cels and talking to the colorist, working on the project at the time, we can only guess as to the intended look. I'd be interested in their input as well.

If they had spent just a little bit of time getting rid of the yellowish tinge, they'd be pissing a lot less people off. Here's a quick run through Photoshop's levels (couldn't help myself). Bottom is the blu-ray version sans the yellow haze.

Wish I had the memory of seeing it for the first time...

Bill finally washed his face. The plot thickens...

I noticed it, but it didn't bother me as much. It's a well designed piece of technology, but I get what you're saying. I was more bothered by the Windows logo showing up. It's going to be there, forever. Windows. In a GITS series. Think about that.

I fixed it.

Superman doesn't have enough facial hair to be Jesus.

True Blood is great for two reasons: 1. True Blood, 2. these recaps.

This post is full of win. Love your description of how to play with Legos.
