I don't believe it with Ryan. That guy is a true believer.

When I was a kid it was field guides, Consumer Reports, and the Sharper Image catalogue. Sometimes there'd be one of those Archie digests in there. Comic strip digests are good, too.

The secret is that "All Star" isn't that bad a song. I don't really care to ever listen to it as a song ever again, but it's a solid karaoke track if you're drunk. I don't really think it's much worse than a lot of dumb shout-along pop music.

Who's "we"?

Trump was really excited about the idea of Oui Magazine until he found out how it was spelled.

He's slowly transmogrifying into a Troll doll. Fitting.

That should be shaped like "L".

Fallout 2, the game with NPCs that you actually won't feel bad about putting in the brain extractor.

The Fallout 3 version of that mod was indispensable. There was also a good one that added a lot more violin music to the violin station.

The paragraph books weren't just copy protection (although they served fairly well for that purpose) but also just a way to work around the extreme storage space constraints at the time. Wasteland was a big game as it was. This goes all the way back to one of the very first RPGs, Temple of Apshai, in 1979 and pops up

Something worth considering: just skim the Democratic Party Platforms for… at least 1992, 2008, and 2016. I've reviewed them all, back to 1972, and squared them with my understanding of how well those policies squared with actual Democratic legislation and presidential actions. You don't even have to read any further

All I want is for someone making the argument that left-wing politics win elections to be able to actually be able to present evidence of left-wing politics winning elections and to be able to explain counter-evidence of centrist politics winning elections. That might actually help the left make a political argument

The French electoral system is closer to ours than either the UK or Australia. For one thing, they have a president who's elected by a national vote.

The Democratic Party might also be having the same problem as France's Socialist Party. I'm sure whatever happened over there recently also supports the idea that a left-wing message is the key to electoral success, right?

Yeah, I was looking to see if anyone else mentioned this. She's got some really shady connections these days.

He seems like a well-meaning but highly impatient person. Lots of nervous energy.

Because it's a goddamn tropical fruit being eaten with cheese and tomato sauce. What next, papaya?

Despite living with a large number of hewmons. I almost feel like he must have chosen to emphasize that pronunciation once he started living on a station run by hewmons.

I'm pretty surprised to learn that AV Club staff and commenters live in walled compounds with armed guards.

But cherry and vanilla Coke both originated with soda jerks adding additional flavor syrups to their soft drinks. That's the more authentic experience, man.
