I haven't left the house in 4 days. I'm alright.

Late seasons Heroes maybe? Though it wasn't totally awful at the start.
We ditched mid-season 1, but the DVR kept going. We only shed the episodes when our DVR died and we lost all our shows. I've had a weird fascination keeping up with the show via Previously.TV's Extra Hot Great podcast (which I recommend!)
The gradient shift of orange Clooney! Yes, I did not realize this until you said it, but he did get less orange. I thought it was me getting used to it.
Yeah, sort of a bummer the Soviet cosmonaut was more of a stunt; kind of like the GOP naming Sarah Palin in the 2008 election ZING!
Arrive with a molded salad.
^ I did not know this! I'm going to Chicago's Comic Con this weekend. I should check that out.
The timeline is way too fast, too many characters to keep track of. But I like the *idea* of this show so much I've stuck with it.
I really like the show, and I think the women characters are more fully realized than in many other shows, but Elliott reads like a typical hero in so many ways; saving others, saving the world, one lonely guy and he's the key to it all. It's familiar but they are doing a lot of cool stuff with the familiar.
Justified was recognized a few times at least.
I feel old watching this show and found comfort he is around my age IRL
White Guys in Suits is what I called it because I also confused it with White Collar.
There are a few formulaic concepts in the whole framework of the show, even though overall I think it's fantastic. The stuff with Shayla in the trunk this week felt a little base for this show when so much else is pushing boundaries. total Hero's Journey, you called it.
Sadly, i see so many women strangled or whatever on TV it's not even shocking anymore. But that verbal abuse really hit me. Not trying to go too in-depth here, but many women, including myself, have been on that side of conversations with men. Maybe not those specifically vulgar words, but perverse threats meant to…
heavy sigh here too.
There is so much over-the-top shiz going on here that if anyone else but Malek would make this show laughable.
I came back to this recap since the writing for this episode was just nominated for an Emmy. And Mike too!
Yeah. I didn't make it through the whole first season.
This show would have been decent as an actual mini-series that ended.
As a salty man (or woman?) of the docks, I'm sure the sea'll be a-callin' you out soon enough. Sail away, ye pirate, and think of ye lads n' lassies no more.
