This is a good first step, but it’s a shame that they’re still forcing her to completely cover herself up except for her eyes.

That car was the sexiest IMSA GT of its era.
There’s a video out there of highlights for the 1994 Le Mans race, one of the shots that stood out to me was the 300ZX shooting sparks from the underside. To deal with the bumpy track they installed titanium studs on the bottom to guard the chassis.
The best part of this video is that you know they’d been working on it forever, finished in the middle of the night, and the mechanic said to the owner, “well, guess we’ll have to wait until the morning!” and the owner just looked at them and siad, “hold my beer.”
I’ve wanted both since freshman year in high school, and I really dont understand why one is so absurdly priced over the other. I think the Z looks better anyways.
The Z! Because it’s the “affordable” option.
Motorweek has you covered!
I like the Z because Nissan’s advertising in the ‘90s was very effective on me.
The right answer.
The OG Dodge Viper ignited my love of cars. We were in a Dodge dealer in 1995, my parents were buying my older brother a Neon and I noticed this oval bulbous thing in the middle of the showroom. I looked at it and wondered why there were speakers on the hood (I was young.) The lines, the power, the sheer will of the…
These pieces about Nashville have been going on for awhile.. since 2011 if memory serves. And I mean, great for the team and the city and the fans (and for you too Barry), I don’t mean to take anything away from anyone - but I think they deserve some credit for this not being pure novelty anymore.
Absolutely great write up Peter. I loved reading every minute of it. Made me reminisce and long for the ‘92 TT I used to have. I never wrenched on it like you did though. Just some bolt ons. I bought it new back in January of 1992 and lost it in a silly spin in 1996. That car owned me though and I learned a valuable…
Holy crap... the scrolling... i thought it would never stop... just more and more costs... sheesh... beautiful damn car though, and fantastic write up.
I remember they used to race these in IMSA GTO class.
So, it’s not an exercise to get some more mileage out of the Viper’s V10?
I’m scared for my family.
Do you actually think Dodge would spend money on a new ad campaign for something with only 43 more HP?
No reason not to try tho.
You do know people will die in 2017 too, right?
In my personal experience, I am glad that I’ve never leased. A few years ago, a friend was urging me to lease a new car because what’s $350 dollars a month to a steadily employed person? Thankfully I didn’t follow his advice, because I got laid off shortly after. If I had, I would have been responsible for paying out…
