I saw a lot of these in Florida. They were usually bought by GM retirees who fled Michigan straight down Interstate 75 and once they were past Gainesville, they would beeline for the coast, take the first deal on a subdivision house they could find, and trade in whatever Chevy they came down in for a Buick. By the end

I-40 runs through the area where I live. Every so often, I’d see a truck or two with a bunch of truck chassis units piggybacked atop one another going westbound.  Last month or the month before I was behind one in traffic and could see them up close--and they were marked with “UPS” in Sharpie on the dashboards.

Or maybe this could be a sign that the franchise may BECOME a television series. Maybe an “hour”-length Primetime series, shown on alternate weeks with another genre series on ABC?  Has the creative process at PIXAR been automated to the point to make it feasible by now?

I played a lot with the Configurator in previous model years.  But then again, my love/hate attitude with the current model doesn’t make me feel good about going back and playing more with it.

The original Marwencol documentary is downloadable if you know where to look.
One of Hogankamp’s photos has gotten further notoriety because of its use by “support the troops” hawks in their memes. When it shows up in my feed I ask the poster, “are you in on the joke?”

I know it will never happen, but my idea for a Ratatouille sequel would be that Remy and some of his Parisian rat buddies get drafted into the French Foreign Legion, and they get sent to Africa to cook for Hero Rats (you know, the ones trained to find old land mines!).
Fan works are a gift, not an obligation.

Captiva is an island along the southwestern coast of Florida that is often along the way to someplace worth going but seldom worth going to on its own. Perfect name for this thing.

My Prizm “Moonshine” has been the closest thing I’ve had to a waifu and I’ve been driving it almost fifteen years now.

I had that issue...it was one of the first comic books I actually BOUGHT for myself, as opposed to being given by relatives. I read it BEFORE I got to see the movie, because it took a while to get to television and there wasn’t a theater near where I was living that showed it.
I’d received a copy of an Action from the

Anybody else remember the episode of DONNY & MARIE with the Used Dinosaur Dealer Commercial that featured demo footage for LAND OF THE LOST?

Historical Footnote: It used to be a bad joke that every so often, while a Labour Party administration was in charge in the UK, they would trade away the production rights on British goods to Soviet-bloc nations for goods or raw materials from them. I could just picture the scene at A.C.: “We’re confiscating the

I just bubbled in C&D’s quote on a 2018 Yaris into the bls.gov calculator and set the dial to the model year I was born—1967. Came out to $2200. What could you buy THEN for $2200?

Would you drive flat-out if there was nothing to win?

I got a second-hand Tercel in 1990 to replace my first car, an AMC Concord that had survived two crashes but was on its second tranny and drove like it. I called it the “Anton Martin” because it was gray, previously belonged to a high school classmate of mine named Anton and at one point my parking pass number was 007.

I got JUMP PAINT for free. I got Blurb’s BookWright for free too.
If I got somebody to teach me how to use those, I’d be “all set”. :|

In 1966 British sketch comedy TV defined the Superthunderstingcar.

This summer, I’ll have owned my Chevrolet Prizm for 15 years.

Gundam and Toyota have BEEN THERE and DONE THAT. Sorta.

This is the car I wanted to own when I was in college. There was a TVR dealership just a few miles from campus and came close to badgering myself into taking a test drive.
Of course, if I had that car, and not an AMC Concord station wagon, I’d be DEAD now. Some things are not meant to be.

My mother was so proud of the birthday party she threw me for my 2nd, that she never threw another one for me again. My birthday is too close to Christmas so either the weather would be too bad, or the Schools would have something for Christmas scheduled for my day.
So I imagine this is a contributing factor to me
