just 3 right now, but i'm waiting.

Kind of feels like Death just drew a big line under my childhood. When Spielberg goes too just keep it to yourselves or else I'll have to be an adult.

I wait with excitement for the day my niece is old enough for me to start reading her Discworld.

Although the Rincewind novels were not my favourite (that would be either Death or Witches), I'd always hoped he had lined up a final Rincewind story to publish last, and give that cowardly bastard one last adventure.

Reaper Man is phenomenal. The passage about Death sharpening his scythe on sunlight is beautiful.

Although special mention to Lords and Ladies for being his meanest book. That story is an evil, dark, joy.

Started reading the Discworld at 13 and never stopped. I still think DEATH is one of the finest literary creations, and that Small Gods tells you everything you need to know about humanity and the development of modern society. I'd put Pratchett's best novels up there with Dickens. And they're funnier.

I believe the correct answer is Small Gods.

Cocker's Bye Bye Blackbird is also a masterpiece.
