My reply to you got listed as a standalone comment, but I finally found someone who agrees with me about the show. Thanks.  IIRC, I made it through only one, maybe two episodes before I removed it from my queue.

Yes, but if you watch on NF, there are no commercials and no on-screen logos and text.  Much better viewing experience IMHO.

My reply to you of a few minutes ago somehow didn't stick as a reply and was done as a stand-alone comment. If you look for it, you'll see it.

Since I did not know about the two series, I was thinking of the movie, "The Killing" which I happened to watch for the 2nd time last night on DVD.  It came out in 1956 and stars Sterling Hayden along with others.

Same question. Why did it not reply to the comment I selected?

Why didn't this go to the comment I was replying to?

Oh, good somebody else agrees with me.
Thank you.

If it's not streaming on Netflix, there's no way I am going to watch any of 'em.  Between the huge on-screen logos, the on-screen text that blocks stuff (I am looking at you BBC-A), and all the commercial time and on-screen snipes, it's just not worth trying to watch anything 'live.'  I will wait for streaming or DVD.
