My mom was there!

What I found so irritating about this episode is that it wants the viewer to feel like it's authentic, but in reality it's anything but. I realize I'm on an island with this, but I couldn't stand it. That said, I get the appeal, not judging those who did enjoy it.

Very cool, I'll have to check that out and add it to the rotation.

Oh wow, that's really cool! I hope that project gets going again. I usually do my own little version of that where I'll read parts of the Sil and then stop and read Unfinished Tales or Children of Hurin when I get to those sections; I'm excited to be able to do the same with Beren and Luthien. I don't know that I

Yeah I guess I shouldn't say tarnish, but The Hobbit films at least seemed wholly unnecessary and out of touch with the tone of the book. I actually just skipped them entirely because I'd rather leave it to my imagination when I reread the book.

Ah come on, Christopher Tolkien has done a pretty damn good job with the legacy from a literary standpoint. It's the films that tarnish it (please let there never be a Silmarillion film in any form). Children of Hurin was great, and the audiobook narrated by Christopher Lee made it even better.

Hell yeah. Excited to hear JT on drums in the studio, the guy is an animal.

And coming in June of 2018, new Tool album! (P.S. King Gizzard kicks ass)

Well worth it.

And coming in May 2018, new Tool album!

In college my post finals ritual was to ride my bike leisurely around campus after my last test blasting Stranglehold in headphones. Fond memories

You can also go back to practicing the drum solo from YYZed. Rock on!

The new King Gizzard thing (single, suite, video…?) "Han Tyumi and the Murder of the Universe"

Man I loved that. Just a little thing about the character that he came up with out of nowhere and it had Chappelle dying.

And how about that Time Stand Still music video? Classic!

Also hilarious when Scott was bitching about anybody who comments on anything while John Lennon advises him to pull it back. Goddamn John Lennon and his indelible positive attitude make me smile.

It was hilarious because one review earlier he refused to just take the question literally (sing a cat a lullaby), then he insists on taking "dream" literally. In both cases making the review exponentially more difficult.

He tweeted that he'll eventually do a second season. I imagine it's a ton of work, but very excited to hear new eps at some point.

My understanding was that Irish are also annoyed by "St. Paddy's Day" since Paddy is its own name, different from Patrick. Is that right?

What's your fuckstyle?
