BBC4’s Peep Show (streaming on Netflix) might be my favorite tv show of all time. It sets up its comedy at the three-way intersection of Bleak Blvd., Absurd Way, and Pathetic Drive. The first season is particularly English, but the references get more understandable for Americans after that.
