Hoff? Neat! I have his lap time magent thing from the infamously never-aired TGUSA pilot. A little “souvenir” I lifted liberated from the set of the show when I went to the taping of the TGUSA that actually made it.

Mr Cena needed to sell the GT to buy a giant engagement ring???
Neato. I was in the Grand Tour studio audience for the first episode of the show. I saw the show before you did. Who the hell cares though, really?
Andy Wilman you mean?
Wrong.
We just call him Andy Wilman.., he is one of JC’s schoolboy friends and executive producer of TGT....
So that means they’re coming on then?
Wait, Clarkson gets to test the roadster?!? After the TG v Roadster 1 fiasco?!
Clarkson, for all his faults, is a brilliant writer and host. I am very glad he loves cars so he can put his talents to something I love as well.
I’ll put a vote in for Sabine Schmitz. Not likely I know but would make good TV.
Winning, or being nominated for awards doesn’t suddenly make you infallible.
Dang.
Dario Franchitti as “The Scotsman” who drives in a kilt and rants about the English while drinking heavily
He’d basically have to have a crash or an engine grenade to not win it next week. Even if Vettel wins out he only has to finish 7th to close it.
You will have to separate the engine suppliers from the teams. Ferrari the team would have to be counted separately from Ferrari the engine supplier. For added balancing make Ferrari the engine supplier provide engines into a pool controlled by the FIA instead of providing them to teams themselves. We all know that…
Thanks for clarifying that. On Comcast, at least, the ‘thumbnail/icon’ for that show features the rear end of an Austin-Healey 100; hope they do a show on that car.
This incident will likely be grating on Haas’ minds for the rest of the season.
They’re not above repeatedly failing to achieve success, and they certainly seem to have the resources to allow it. While I hope we can one day hit it off with a successful show on our side of the Atlantic, TG:A definitely isn’t it.
