Yeah, they are spending thousands per CyberTurd to improve the “efficiency” for the owners out of the goodness of their hearts. Sure they are... I’m rarely one for conspiracy theories, but this had to be something *bad* that they don’t want to end up as a public recall.

I’m absolutely sure they sat on the CT from its unveiling in 2019 until the beginning of 2023, then speed ran its development and testing. Some automakers test their cars for years and millions of miles. I’d bet they “tested” the CT for a couple months and drove it a couple thousand miles before putting it on sale.

Every time I see something about these people I think of the Talking Heads song Nothing but Flowers, where an environmental activist is bemoaning the loss of all the things ended by his desired outcome.

Something like 90% of recycled plastic ends up in landfill.  We have curbside pickup so I sort and put it out there but at this point it feels pretty performative.

The smartest thing the oil companies ever did was to invent the term “Carbon Footprint” and shift the pollution blame to individuals.

I’m all for activism, protesting, making your voice heard and all, but trespassing and vandalism like this make me LESS sympathetic to their cause. Be heard with ideas and solutions, not temper-tantrums.
