I love that Honda continues to keep the LSD and 6-speed manual standard on the Si. Also, for a point of reference the curb weight for the 2024 model is 50lbs less than the 2014 model, keeping it under the 3,000lbs mark.

That would have either been the shortest or most uncomfortable car ownership ever.

If your son is finding all these issues first, that means they aren’t being passed to the customer.

When I test drove family sedans in 2017, the Mazda6 was clearly designed a step above the Golf, Passat and Accord of the same year. Mazda has really opened up a sweet spot over the last 10 years or so.

The next bit, however, is confusing: The bus driver took 30 minutes to go three miles—a drive that normally takes six minutes, according to NBC. The district says the driver was going slower on the dirt road...

Wow, that’s terrible placement. If there was a QOTD for “Which Car Has The Worst Placement of Controls?”, this might win.

Do you consider Play Doh and mayo to be liquids?

Edit: meant to say Rim Width Range.

Excuse me: I meant to say Rim Width Range. In which case the factory-installed Model Y Performance tires are suitable for the largest wheels available - 21" x 9.5" front and 21" x 10.5" rear.

I believe the “Carolina Squat” is quickly becoming illegal already.

ANY aftermarket lighting that diminishes the performance of the original unit should be banned. This includes diminished performance due to glare, poor beam pattern (where bulb is not harmonized with the design of the housing and/or lens) or reduced visibility.

Related: ban fitment of tires that are mounted on wheels wider than the Measuring Rim Width of the tire.

For the umpteenth time, I will copy and paste the very first marketing point from Cybertruck website:

What’s worse - the occasional EV truck fire or a diesel semi that constantly spews toxic exhaust?

Unfortunately they took the worst part from that concept - the “beak” - and put it into production.

...oh my bad, you said “worst”. Anyway, please use this Mazda Vision Coupe Concept to refresh your visual pallet.

That monstrosity made it past far too many decision gates to get to the point of being built and photographed. Maybe they built it so they could have an example of what NOT to do!

You make a joke, but during crowded events I am happy when I see people hopping the curb to park their SUVs and trucks on the grass. Normally I see them tip-toeing over small bumps and avoiding curbs altogether.

I think the Sport Package cars came with summer tires, which were excellent and provided way more grip than the all-seasons on the base 330i. At the very least, the Sport tires were staggered (225/245). By themselves, the staggered tires and +1 wheel size really make a difference. The extra suspension tuning enhances

No, the E46 did not give BMW the Ultimate Driving Machine status. It sure lived up to the term but it was not the first. That term had been around for a long time before the E46, in the press and in BMW marketing materials.
