The Prius should not be a controversial answer. The drivetrain is remarkably simple (i.e. - there are no moving parts in the Toyota e-CVT).  They have demonstrated capability in harsh environments such as NYC Taxi duty.  They are very fuel efficient and reliable.

The BMW diamond key was a pretty elegant design. Not only did it retain a fairly normal size and shape, the buttons were well integrated and the key battery was charged wirelessly when inserted into the ignition.

Porsche (and maybe other manufacturers) were doing the car-shaped key well before Tesla.

Just like the VW Bus, the Fiat 600 utilizes “Human First” front crumple zones.

Especially if you’re buying a two-year-old BMW 3 Series competitor

I see blacked-out tail lights and I want to beat some sense into the person that thought it was a good idea to make their brake lights less visible. It’s a real safety risk.

Look up “Legacy SUS”. Subaru has a long history of making slightly jacked up “off-road sedans”.

If it were as easy as you say, Subaru probably would have done it.
