When you wake up, how much charge does it have? 100%! So should your PHEV/EV. If I had a gas pump in my garage I would spend far less time refueling

Banning private cars? Not only is it political suicide (and possibly real suicide, if you piss people off enough), it is not practical until public transportation is VASTLY improved or until a very broad societal shift toward short commutes occurs.

A median number would be more useful. The best selling EVs in the USA are the Model Y, Model 3 and Mustang Mach-E.  Only the top trim/fully loaded versions of those come close to $64k MSRP.

I imagine some Cybertruck owners would love to brag about the “sub-micron accuracy” of their new toy but yeah, most of them will get it for the other novel features Tesla is known for.
