I agree, too bad we don't have any commercial like that today! :-)

Yeah, too bad we don't have a time machine, we could alter the timeline to prevent the 1967 riots as well as the election of Coleman A. Young as mayor of Detroit. And one other nick I read often on the Detroityes forum is "Det-riot".

We could wonder a "what if?" scenario: what if Ghosn had decided to step in Chrysler? It could had been a good consolation prize for not having GM (Or could he currently wait and see how GM with Akerson do before he makes his next move?).

Yeah, there was once arch rivals, just like Coke and Pepsi. Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs, the good old days. ;-)

And another fan who did this video recently

Some fans imagined a revival of a modern Torino like this one.

It's a bid sad then Renault Argentina dropped the Torino after 1982 (especially when the 1960s Ford Falcon body soldiered to 1991). Imagine what if they allow it to soldier a couple of additionnal years. I sketched with more or less success a "what if?" sketch of a fictionnal 1985 Torino on Deviantart [fav.me]

And here more UHF segments you might enjoy like Conan the Librairian.

It remimds me of that segment from the UHF movie.

When I re-read that article and the other article on Jalopnik who mentionned then Consumer Reports removed the Civic from their best buy list. [jalopnik.com] We wonder if that crashed Honda prototype was a bad omen for Honda? It's only a coincidence but that's a weird concidence...

I did once a sketch then I posted on Deviantart , not related to that current situation where I updated the Kentucky Fried Movie quote "Take him to Detroit" by "Take him to Montreal" [fav.me]

As well as its relatives pre-82 A-body/G-body cousins like Cutlass, Le Mans/1978-80 Grand Am, Grand Prix, Regal (when they wasn't T-type/Grand National form), Malibu, some folks wants to grab a used 1978-81 Malibu 2-door like this one showed on Hemmings blog [blog.hemmings.com]

Mr. President, here a car where the top speed is even lower then 15 mph.
