i work with seniors in their homes. one couple watches fox all day long & that’s the only news they get. it’s ALL “illegal migrants” 24/7. we live as far from the southern border as you can get & they are terrified (as all republicans are) that someone is going to come & take their stuff.

yeah, i love those hand-held scanners.  & if you ring up your produce in the produce section, it’s a huge time saver.

i live on cape cod & the local stop & shops & shaw’s have added more self-checking lanes. they’re also in cvs, bj’s & target. we have a huge labor shortage due to the cost of rent being so high, people who would normally work cashier jobs can’t afford to live here. i love them - they generally turn over customers…
