It's about Inhuman stuff and that he agreed to work with someone capturing Inhumans. He's actually trying to make sure Price doesn't get to Daisy, but all she sees is him cooperating with the enemy. Daisy was able to play Coulson in S1 to a point, so she knows he is a bit of a sucker.

I think Coulson is not buying it at all, but they're playing a game and she already admitted she's trying to lure him in. So in order for him to keep playing, he has to act like he buys it. Plus, odd that she has a classic car, sports collectibles, art that he would notice. Even if she's not lying about the ex, too

I agree with you. It kind of shuts down the Lash character for me.

It's more accessible, which is probably part of why it's getting so much media attention. The show actually requires you to follow along and this episode ditched all of that.

Actually, Simmons saved Will. He was trying to not descend into madness when he met her and she mapped the stars and established a way to read time for him and let him see the sun, and made the planet feel more like a home.

Totally agree with you. Fitz is not super empathetic and he's never been portrayed that way. He can read into people's situations if he directly identifies with them. Like him losing Simmons or Skye being different like him or refusing to believe Skye when she says Ward is evil until he sees it, etc. Whereas

Yes, I definitely agree. She was interested in the possibility. But that doesn't guarantee anything. It's not more important, for instance, than her personal journey during the episode.

I don't think the show is interested in shipping concerns, though. I just think those are the audience's expectations. I don't even think Coulson and Price are flirting, either. It seems more like she's antagonizing him.

No, but I like Fraction and I like the way he writes Kate from the stuff I have read. And I think Hawkeye Square should be a t.v. show on Netflix and that they should get rid of Ultimates Hawkeye in the MCU and pretend he never existed, but that's just meeeee!

Ha. We're mostly going to disagree about everything.

Okay, I understand your point. And the fights don't have a lot of characterization I'd agree (except, I would say maybe the one-take scene Daisy did last seasons which conveyed something to me).

Maybe "emotional bravery" then, I don't know. I mean, he kind of pushed her into a date too soon previously, before he even knew where she was at emotionally. That was a weird priority to have, even if he thought he was helping her.

Yeah, but these aren't martial arts professionals. Do you think Arrow does a better job?
I'm not a martial artist, so, the technical aspects of it don't interest me as much, tbh.

I don't think the show is suggesting Skye is an elite fighter at all, though. And her quick thinking and powers now close that gap. For instance, she didn't try to take down Lash, she just took the floor out from under him so they could get away from him.

I'm saying it's not any less realistic than Steve Rogers, and the character shouldn't even be scrutinized for it in the first place. And wouldn't if she was, say…Peter Parker. It would never be mentioned, and people would talk about how awesome Peter is instead.

I think they've done a really good job of creating a backstory for Daisy Johnson in AOS, instead of treating her like a misfit kid that Fury recruited because her dad was a supervillain so he could execute his CATERPILLAR op.

Were people largely criticizing Steve Rogers for his first combat mission even though he's only shown going through basic training prior to that and performing in USO shows?

Kara hits her in the face and knocks her to the ground and is about to kill her when Hunter shows up. It's not a very long fight.

You're just bad at following the show. HYDRA already knew about Skye, because she was poking around their CENTIPEDE project. Garrett confirms this. She was on their hit list with Tony Stark. She also hacked SHIELD. She was also part of The Rising Tide, and the show makes it clear they were considered a threat,

I think the episode makes it clear Simmons could've survived on her own, though. She just didn't have to. In fact, I got a little bored plot-wise to watch her doing it on her own past a point (and obviously the writer agreed with me), because her biochem background actually made her very suited for being stranded on
