That line by David "…even my REVENGE" was brilliant. I was hooked from the moment I watched it. Goliath is pure gothic romance. This series did a fantastic job blending so many different genres into a pretty good whole.

Creepshow 2 messed me up and good! Because of The Raft. I think that's why it gets all the points.
Yeah, but he was kind of awful in the films.
I would love it if someone else got to make a Hellboy film. The comics had loads more atmosphere and Del Toro made this almost a straight actioneer. The character of Abe really suffered (it should've been a buddy horror/comedy) and the shoehorned romanced with Liz? Done to death. Such a trope at this point. It…
I think it was shot well and had a great cast, but is not a good film. The story is weak and the emotional beats feel out of place throughout the film.
Totally agree with this. He is good at stoic Cap (love him in that role) but he was not emotive enough to be the lead in this.
The ending we deserved!
Agreed. It has all these fantastic elements but seems rooted in nothing.
Maybe I will!
I do remember her from the first episode, but I felt like this came on pretty strong and she was not a central focus storyline-wise until this end arc.
Because it took a very happy and upbeat and fairly inexperienced character and made her do something really terrible in the course of one episode so we could have the feels.
I totally get what the point was. To me, it felt kind of exploitative to use a teenage girl, and also, redundant after the Batson/Supes fight, that's all.
Yes, they wrote themselves into that corner and you could see it coming. It just comes off as mean-spirited to me. Indicative of what the DCU became in comicsland. Gross.
This is the point where the show went too far, for me, trying to have it both ways with the space gun being no kill, but then the brutal Supergirl/Galatea fight which I found disturbing. And not in an interesting way, it kind of disgusted me. It's like they took the Batson/Clark fight and then pushed it way, way too…
I really dislike the whole Supergirl/Galatea arc. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
They're like if the Captain of the football team married the head cheerleader. It's so boring. I think it's just a relationship as a power fantasy and nothing more.
DC needs to stop trying to put Wonder Woman and Superman together and just let Wondy/Bats happen. Stop being chicken, stop fearing the wrath of the Bat fans. Just give them their own book and let Gail Simone write it.
Yeah, I think that the DCAU paved the way for Marvel movies. They created a complete world, that felt like all the heroes and villains existed together in it.
I loved them together. It's a shame DC never ran with it.
Yeah, he kind of becomes their conscience.
