One of my favs as well. Are you talking about the animated version?

And that's great. I just don't have a problem with them mixing it up stylistically as a way to redirect the impulse to perceive Jen that way.
But, further to the topic and that jerk Goyer, using art like this is a nice counter to the idea that the character is all about sex.
Don't really mind the more surreal art style. Is there a lot of action in this book on the regular, or people hanging out talking?
I don't mind if it has that vibe, but not him writing it, per se.
She-Hulk has always been one of my favorites! I wish there was a way for her to have her own t.v. show on Netflix.
I think because Superman is so powerful they just feel like it will come down to if they can kill him or not.
That's what's perfect about the character. He's so arrogant and thinks he's so entitled that he would miss something like that. It's how Braniac took him over in S:TAS episode 'Ghost in the Machine' (also one of my favorite Mercy episodes).
I know that. But, he knows Superman goes somewhere at night and expresses little interest in who Superman is as an actual person. Lex only cares about his own projection of Superman.
Because Archer had a great butt?
Yeah, that is an older take, and I've definitely read some interesting stories from that perspective. I'm just really into characterization and relationships, so I'm just not as enthusiastic about the loner take.
Yeah, sad. I quit Marvel (total Brokeback reference there) because the comics were so dark and blah, and fled to DC where Geoff Johns was writing an awesome JSA, Hawkman and Flash.
It's a personal preference. :) I really, really dislike lonely Superman. I like that he's curious about where he's from, but I love that he feels surrounded and loved by his parents and friends.
Zola's Algorithm!
That's the thing, Lex doesn't know Clark and probably has no interest in getting to know him. He'd rather impose his own ideas on Superman than view him as a real person. But Luthor's a control freak.
I can see this, but my problem is that you lose much of Superman's humanity if you go that route. If he sheds Clark, does he shed the Kents as well? How do you reconcile that?
I love his Hawkman. It would be like Indiana Jones crossed with a superhero. DC should totally make that movie. If they were, like, into making fun superhero romps (whichtheyaren't).
Hamilton was broken and couldn't recover. Pretty sad, actually.
I don't mind that speech from Kill Bill, because all it does is reflect the worldview of sadistic Bill (who is a lot like Luthor).
I agree. That is the Superman I absolutely love. He's just Clark Kent and his job as Superman is based on his feelings of personal responsibility and general love for humanity, particularly in light of the fact that he's the ultimate immigrant story.
