I liked Mercy, too. Especially when she turned on Lex, finally. Always felt it would've been cool if she'd ended up being friends with Superman.

He's an idiot. Wasn't he one of the fools who kept writing her has a harpie nonstop?

JL:TAS is a precursor to what Marvel is now successfully doing with their movieverse. Has the same great banter, character moments, soap operatics.

Sadly, I think they all probably broke up with him. I'd put up with it!

What happened to Johns? He used to tell wonderful, hopeful stories.

BTAS had that great noir look, too.

I agree Delany is *the* Lois. And her and Supes in the JL:AS are the best.

I think that Ant-Man will be in Avengers 3. With a whole lot of other heroes, including Black Panther.

Yes, Marvel would. Batman is inarguably the most popular superhero of all time. That is worth something to a studio. It's called $$$$. Marvel would love to siphon some of that popularity their way.

I just want to be clear. You're saying Marvel would not want a character of theirs to be perceived as a black Batman?

Yeah, definitely. And I think they don't belong on the big screen unless they're teamed up with someone else.

You mean like Batman? You're right. Just so unpopular.

Agree. Found it a bit reprehensible. Also agree about Berry's Storm getting the axe.

She is called The Maker, and has a hipster beard and flower tattoos. Also really good at craft beer.

I found it grotesque, honestly. When they pulled Colossus apart, that felt very disgusting. Same with Bobby being decapitated. And then the other black mutant from First Class is a lab dissection.

I kind of want Urban to land a major superhero role. I loved him in Dredd and I don't even like that character.

No! You are not.

He's a king who communes with a panther god and controls one of the most valuable natural resources on Earth.

I didn't like the first one, either. Destroying Vulcan seemed like some cheap fanboy crap to me. Still mad about that.

I felt that the film was just cheap nostalgia all around.
