Certainly seems that way. A lot of people were speculating that the previous departure was because he wanted it to be too funny. But, apparently not the case.

Yeah. I just prefer David, I guess. I find him more compelling. Arthur is a little generic to me.

Agreed. Dumb.

I love Aquaman's costume! Anyway, I think he's kind of the King David of the DCU and more writers should be able to take advantage of that.

Agreed. My fav version to date.

Zatanna, mind-rapist. Just… no.

Which Watchmen did before it, and that was bad enough. I feel like Alan Moore apologized for that with his ABC line.

I haven't read this, but it sounds like a bunch of @$$holes in tights. Pass.

Yup, I stopped reading comics. I was tired of opening a book and feeling like I was watching CNN but with tights. All of the ugliness in the world, and none of the joy.

Not only that, they kind of raped her entire life, didn't they? And it seems particularly hateful to do it to that particular couple.

You summed up what makes Marvel great and DC meh right there.

Still hate Infinity Crisis, after all these years.

Did this show just jump the shark by having the male lead raped right before his BFF's wedding? That's what we're doing now, writers?

I gotta say, I found they way they handled this downright nauseating, and it really went too far to have Nick get raped right before Monroe and Rosalie's wedding. Sick!

It's not like she had a ton of appearances. Also, John had a lot of ladyfriends on that show.

This show made me like Shayera.

This show did start to feel a bit like the Justice Dating Club. I mean, it was the only place to get my Bats/Wondy jones (after they killed it in the comics), so I'm not gonna hate on it. But you kind of wondered who would be paired up with who each episode.

I like to dislike Vixen. To me it seemed like they just introduced her to push Shayera's buttons, which seemed a little cheap to the character, to me.

Yeah, I kind of agree. It was a thing in the 90s. Or at least, it felt like it. Their motivations are different, but their 'tudes are all on the same setting.

Witty repartee!
