Sackhoff was the lead in Battlestar Galactica. I mean, she virtually is Carol Danvers.

Points on the backend, possibly set for life.
Geniusness.
Ahem, Squirrel Girl.
I kind of love Skye now. At first I found the whole premise pretty annoying (her included), but I like the twist of the idealistic hacker having to now protect secrets and that her character is from outside the agency, which allows her to point out all of the morally dubious things they do.
Yeah, I hope the writers resist, but, they already planted the seeds by having Raina tell Ward more about Skye.
Yeah, it's a bit of a problem. It seems like it's not the show they wanted to write, though. They wanted to write a Whedon show with AoS as the "house" for it.
It was ambiguous right up until the Ragtag episode where we got his sob story, complete with Buddy the dog. And anyway, I'm not agreeing with Bell. I would prefer if Ward stayed evil and the team had to put up with him occasionally, like a mercenary a la Taskmaster.
I get why people like Happy Coulson. I'm just saying, his characterization has been inconsistent between the 3 previous episodes and the finale.
Skye is 26. Ward is early 30s. Look at May/Ward. May is close to Coulson's age, which is 50. So, I think they already pretty much threw age differences out the door with that.
No. 30s.
Oh goodness, yes. Quite a lot. Still. Odd.
Or sometimes it comes across to me as Ollie is very careless or comfortable knowing her feelings work in his favor. And that's why he keeps his paws off her (because he sleeps with everyone else).
It's all very problematic to me. Coulson was consistently having a meltdown and distrusted everyone. No more secrets, his sharing things only with Skye, breaking protocol.
The problem is Ollie and Felicity have had a number of serious talks this year, and so this could've been in line with that, just one more, and maybe would've shared something meaningful? Instead, we got the beach shutdown. I mean, I don't think they should be together, personally, unless people secretly hate…
I think I would've liked it more if they'd tabled it and not had Felicity immediately try to talk to him about it on the Island with his obviously vague holding pattern reply. I just think it feels a little like Ollie being dismissive of her feelings, and the entire scene was to jerk the fans around.
They are legion and they are Skyeward. I think the fans gave them that name, but one of the showrunners actually dropped it in an interview. And they still keep talking about how Ward is redeemable. Ugh.
Oh, I agree. Loved it. But I was more comparing the Skyward fan reactions. I mean, days before the finale the show was posting images of Skye and Ward embracing and the Skyewards still had their hopes up. :D
Agents of SHIELD. They were teasing Skye and Ward and then torpedoed it. Dead.
