Really, Black Adam is the only Shazam family member I find tolerable.

Let's talk about the movies we will get.

I also seems to lean heavily towards comic absurdity.

Because Once Upon A Time made such a joke of the concept, they will swoop in and kill it dead.

Yup. Comedy.

matthew mcconaughey as Booster Gold.

Yes, but their popularity supercedes the male characters. No one would feel cheated if they made a Hawkgirl movie instead of Hawkman. No one would want to see a movie about Zatanna's dad, but they'd love to see her.

Exactly. And Marvel can't use any of them.

Maybe this will be Snyder's time to shine and he will make a trilogy about Atlantian-Terran-Apokolips political intrigues, the Justice League can spend a lot of time training and going on diplomatic missions, but not upholding any justice?

It's a shame DC can't realize one of the only things they have on Marvel: female characters that aren't derivative of male characters. Not to mention, they're genre characters, and are somewhat known due to the Justice League cartoons.

I know. We never would've got that ending.

Yes, he knew they put him through his torture/revival there, He knew they were doing that sort of thing at the very least, and he clearly wasn't fond of it.

It'll really be a joke if they don't utilize her. Loeb said that her and Coulson's reunion would be "abbreviated". Which I hope doesn't mean that Garrett kills her just so Coulson can have some feels.

Yeah, of course. They can have her change. I'm just saying the character herself stated what the problem is. She doesn't feel like she's a hero.

Did they, or did they not, write her leaving Starling because she says she can't change?

I went back and watched the earlier episodes, and it is all connected. The writers are clever at breadcrumbing it, I'm just not sure they're good storytellers. Those are two different things. I'm sure they researched the term Mary Sue before they named her that, because that's a key part of Skye's past and the

It completely does in the context of her character, I just question its entertainment value. Ollie had Felicity and Diggle to offset him in Season 1.

I agree with that, but that is how they wrote her. She lacks confidence in who she is and what defines her, so I think she'll have to sort that out to stay in Starling.

She doesn't have to be Felicity. But, in this episode, she makes it clear what their differences are, and it doesn't work. She will have to change. From an entertainment standpoint, I don't get excited by her character, because she seems pretty joyless.

No, he's really not. He began moving away from that after Season 1, hence, The fact that Sara confronted him about making her feel like she was living on the Island again by not axing Roy like they should have Slade directly contracts that.
