Pip the Troll. Infinity Gauntlet. Done.
Pip the Troll. Infinity Gauntlet. Done.
They're all collegiate stereotypes from the 60s. Reed is the egghead professor, Johnny's the popular jock, Sue is the ultimate sorority girl (really what is the difference at all between bland Sue and bland Jean Grey?) and Ben is the greaser.
Agreed. At first I was really annoyed because Star Lord is supposed to be kind of like Judge Dredd, but I loved Rocket, and then I thought about all the possible benefits of breaking the mold! Like world where a Spidey/Human Torch buddy comedy where they ride around in the van and prank the rest of the Marvel U is…
I agree. All of the stuff with Johnny and Ben was great. Evans killed it as Johnny. But then, I always felt like Reed and Sue were the weak links until Franklin came along.
Nolan Batman films: "Yay, I killed all the romance of Batman being a Dark Knight! Whoopee, look at that fancy new Batmobile! Don't mind the fact that a character traditionally relegated to the shadows is lit up like a Christmas tree at noon, nosiree.."
Reynolds really reminded me more of Kyle. But, is Hal Jordan an interesting character to begin with? He's definitely not humorous.
Except for Johnny and Ben. They were awesome sauce.
Yeah, gritty and the F4 go together like peanut butter and jelly. I mean, these guys are clueless. This should be off-the-charts imaginative and fun.
There's no reason to have non-HYDRA stuff going forward. In fact, Coulson makes it clear that they exist in antithesis to that, not because they are SHIELD.
Yeah, he is also one of Fury's Howling Commandos.
This show does a lot of mirroring. So, it wouldn't surprise me if this was the case and that Raina is an 084 as well, that went in the wrong direction. She's obviously been tampered with mentally and she is obsessed with gifteds.
I guess, if fathers and daughters joke about their sex lives, or exchange lots of lingering stares. He's definitely emo for her, but I find the basis for it a little ambiguous. They're certainly not too professional.
Yeah, I think you might be hoping for too much. I don't find any of these characters particularly emotionally mature.
Well, if you look at previews, he makes them all take a seat in the lie detector chair next week.
I think Garrett will take a dirtnap before she will. I think she's had a bit of the mindwash and likes to experiment on people because she's a "true believer" in gifteds, which might have some personal connection to why her own mind was tampered with.
Yeah, you are correct! But she was in Masters of Evil. Someone suggested (maybe elsewhere) that HYDRA is building a MOE.
Yeah, right around when I was donesky with comics.
Didn't she end up bald on a past season episode of Grimm?
Yup. Slade is a romantic. Isabel is jealous. She wanted Ollie's dad to love her more than him. That is really what it comes down to, because he was cheating on his wife and Thea's not even his.
And would unfortunately rob the LazPit of its mystical coolness!
