“It was really a reality TV show. That’s not what I signed up for,” Harlow said on WWHL.

It’s all exhausting, but I choose to focus on the elements that have the best potential for POSITIVE influence on her audience—since, whether we like it or not, she still has a huge one, largely made up of young girls (album sales don’t lie). And for me, that Grammy 2016 speech was for them—and those girls don’t care…
Kanye wouldn’t shut up about it for years. He launched the narrative in the first place, went on TV show after TV show talking about it (she mentioned it once on TV, if at all). They all grew up—she even introduced him at the VMAs seven years later. Then he had to put his giant foot in his mouth again with “Famous.”…
I’m glad I’m not the only person who thinks this is what happened! Kanye only asked about the first half of the lyric on the video, not the second (“I made that bitch famous”), and I could easily see Kanye having not writte it yet and, Kanye being Kanye, assuming Taylor had given him blanket consent. Taylor only ever…
I dunno, I still feel bad for Taylor. I’ve felt bad for her since he jumped onstage to interrupt her acceptance speech, and I think she was blindsided by the music video. I think recording someone’s phone-calls is really shitty.
I think the reality is, Kanye told her about part of the song, not the whole thing (and the phone calls seem to confirm this), he didn’t necessarily do that intentionally to mislead her, but she felt mislead and reacted. I think Kim missed the nuance of Taylor being ok with some of it, but not all of it, and felt like…
Why are you really disappointed? Can’t an 80-year-old woman live her life as she choses?
Not playing his music, and not discussing him no matter what he says or does is about the only boycott that would work. He (and the Kardashians) feed off attention, any kind of attention. Any protest, or response to his behavior will be, ultimately, beneficial to him. I know way too many people who ‘hate watch’ the…
A big star (his name isn’t coming to mind) said Maggie Haberman unfollowed him for continuing to ask that question. You’ll enjoy this, I think
None of the jokes were about her looks. Anyone who says they were is projecting.
Was the joke about “her looks” the one comparing her to Aunt Lydia? Because I thought that joke had less to do with her actual appearance and more to do with her terrify persona and how she’s complicit in other women’s oppression.
But, also, Ann Dowd is really pretty? And comparing Sarah’s looks to Ann Dowd should not…
Oh god, I hate it when I agree with Wendy Williams.
I just want one of these ostensibly outraged members of the press to point to the section of Wolf’s set that lamabasted SHS’s looks.
Yeah I don’t understand what that tweet is even supposed to mean. It doesn’t seem like Miranda is hurting over her breakup with East so I’m not sure what’s karmatic (I know this isn’t a real word) about it.
I think, for Haberman, it’s a combination of (1) wanting to suck up to keep her access to the WH (don’t forget that photo of her with Orange Foolius in the Oval) and (2) butthurt at how Michelle Wolf called journalists like her out.
People keep claiming that Wolf makes fun of Sarah Slanders’ physical appearance, and I’m still trying to figure out where she does that. The smoky eyes and Aunt Lydia jokes were so fucking obviously about the lies and the bullshit.
God sometimes I’m like this whole internet thing was a huge fucking mistake.
Sorry but really just came to comment: GOD DAMN ANGELA BASSETT, HOW???? She is so beautiful.
That’s the crux of the question. There simply is no easy answer. I am of the opinion that a line must be drawn. If we are to compete in men’s and women’s sports, then there must be a line to separate them. I understand not everyone will be happy with that conclusion, but it is impossible to please everyone.
This is a good thing.
