If you look at movies and/or TV, the crews on set tend to be in a union. FX houses, animation companies and the like are not unionized. The video game industry operates more closely to these FX houses and animation companies. That unless things have started to change in the last few years.

For the english dub I am fine with it. If there is a japanese audio track with subtitles then they better be as close to a literal translation as possible.
