Right, his input could have been limited to pre-production. That could influence a lot of the tone/look/feel of a film. I am now going to have to figure out how hands on he is with these types of projects.

Halcyon is a drug. The use that sticks out the most for me has been Orbital's Halcyon + on + on.

It is up to the IP owner to decide if they want people using their stuff. Lucasfilm was always very controlling over the Star Wars IP. I don't remember Blizzard's track record outside of their own in game editors/mods.

Executive Producers can be running the show or more hands off. You really have to look at it from a film to film perspective. George Lucas was Executive Producer on Empire Strikes Back/Return of the Jedi, how involved was he?

They will have to come out with something really amazing with those other modes. CTF and the like aren't enough for me anymore.

I have to agree. I am also concerned with the amount of game modes, etc. I don't feel that I will be playing this for very long with what is currently offered. If they think cutting out the single player gives them more time and money to work on multiplayer, I am not seeing it. They could always surprise me and

I don't think Microsoft owns the rights to the Battletech universe anymore.
