How do the Trumps Kushners expect to reintegrate into regular celebrity society after this presidency? Do they plan to continue on in DC? Will Ivanka run for office next? I’m just imagining them being seriously snubbed by liberal Hollywood and New York.

Yes. This is America. If someone is grossly negligent they typically are sued. You want to be able to be awarded money if something happens that might fuck up your ability to make money. An obstetrician and a midwife are not going to give you the same payout.

He’ll just blame it on the reporter: “He should have had a gun to protect himself from the bomb...blah, blah, blah.

I mean, seriously. It’s not like he ever says anything worth listening to.

Lol. Craig did a good deed. I’ll admit it without cynicism.

Sorry yes some

I agree.  American culture was different at the time of SATC. It was all still candy colored. Her show was probably more similar to entourage in terms of feel and category.

I mean these shows are different. Carrie is much more analogous to the entourage dudes in terms of culture and genre.

I mean, Hillary won the popular vote. But  conservatives always super judgy of women.

I thought you were going to tell me that Ariana Grande’s ponytail now has an Twitter account.

The middle ground or a reasonable, measured opinion doesn’t get funding to make a movie.

It was the title of the story and then the picture of the lady underneath that made me question.

I haven’t seen the Sopranos, but I feel like you are right about this. Carrie wasn’t deeply introspective for someone claiming to be a sexual anthropologist. Or whatever she said...and a writer. She wasn’t even interested in therapy. I think Miranda and Samantha had more self awareness. It was always about other

This is like a humble brag, right?

Exactly! Weddings and Birth have been made into some sort of transcendent experience in which one must always strive to experience some sort of ecstasy and the highest levels personal fulfillment... all while one upping other women.

Things can go badly pretty quickly during a birth. The best thing would be to give birth at a hospital that accommodates midwives, so that people could have the option of both. I wouldn’t do a home birth because I need to have someone suable if something goes wrong. And if I happen to need a blood transfusion or other

I really don’t understand why the birthing process has become so so polemic. Whether you give birth at home or in a hospital there are always going to be risks. Nothing is perfect. This is--to me-- another arm of women’s bullshit perfectionism that they throw onto other women. There are some great births in a hospital

This is what the conservatives want: good people to give up.

Someone once told me that the world—or this country—is getting more progressive as time goes on. While perfection in terms of civil rights for minority groups doesn’t exist, we have certainly made strides. Sure, we could have made more advances, but some people are frightened when the world in which they were raised

So basically we need ex military to teach children...doesnt sound that bad.
