Cranberry sauce should be enjoyed anytime one likes - we like it with my chicken pot pie, for instance. It also pairs well with macaroni and cheese, or pork chops, for more examples. Don’t keep it only to holidays - and it’s so very easy to make!

If we can ever “deJoy” the postal system, things might get so much better.

I’m sorry (not really), but I wouldn’t take Cesar Milan’s advice on how to pick up doggie doo-doo, much less anything important such as what to feed my dog, or which dog would be right for me.

We didn’t have funds to spare to tear the paneling out of the family room, so we painted it. We actually like it this way, and figure if a future owner doesn’t, they can be the ones to tear it out.

Nowadays most people’s “hood vent” are merely a very ineffective scrubbing vent combined with a microwave. What is needed is a hood vent connected to outside so the whatever the vent sucks up isn’t merely redirected back inside.

At our local grocery store, which in my case is Food Lion. I have seen them occasionally at Publix too.

Sliced frozen strawberries work really well if you like strawberries. If I have time to let my steel-cut oats cool a bit, I like to mix craisins in, along with a spoonful of dark brown sugar. I do plan to try the blueberries/roasted pecans and the blueberries with peanut butter soon - they sound delicious!

My mail guy does just that, when he comes to the door with a package. Unfortunately, he’s not the only carrier on our route and the delivery time is never the same 2 days running. My 2 Westies defend our house vociferously from all comers, whether delivery people, kids on bikes, or walkers (especially when accompanied

Every time I’ve ever tried to wear white AFTER Labor Day, I hear my grandmother in my head. She, however, was all about white after Easter - we all wear white shoes for Easter so why not onward? West Texas Baptist, y’all: Memorial Day, Shmemorial Day!

This is what I do as well, except sitting overnight has been enough to get the pickle smell out - upside-down is key!

I think one’s books should be sorted the way it makes sense to oneself. Period. I prefer by author, then by series chronology, but that’s me. You might prefer by size, by color, or by genre.

Our Westies did the same as your Mom’s JRTs...till we bought a split king! Ta-da - I could their little white butts out from under my bed again - hah!

I hope your doggo gets better and you have many more years with her. After putting my cat through chemo for her cancer, I didn’t choose it for our rescue dog Annabel’s

Benji, maybe? But ugh.

We love this, and put them on the 3 toilets upstairs so far. My parents mother, who lives in the secondary living quarters (my father passed just after Christmas last month), didn’t want a soft-close lit (!) so for now it’s the only one without it. But most people use the toilet upstairs with us anyway, so there’s

Y’all used to put what the extension would work with in the title (iOS, Mac, PC, Google, Android, etc.). That was nice so I didn’t click on something I couldn’t use.

I have one sitting in my desk drawer. I bought it to more easily catalog my books, CDs and DVDs. Now I stream most movies and music, plus most of my library is now digital except for true beloveds in hardcover, maybe 4 bookcases at most (2 in family room, one in my bedroom, one in spare bedroom). Remember LibraryThing?

I believe the criticism was aimed at the hypocrisy of the good Mother herself in flying First Class and staying in expensive hotels rather than applying those funds to improve the hospitals, not at the good sisters who were only doing the best they could with the limited resources they had.

He wouldn’t do it that way because it gets him more press to do it like he is doing it: lots of tweets, “special” phone calls to State TV, etc.

A boycott of NBC isn’t what will work; as has been proven with other boycotts of this type, writing a show’s sponsors telling them you will boycott them and why is what has worked in the past. See O’Reilly, Bill; Beck, Glenn; et al.

I am more and more outraged that Secretaries of State are allowed to run for higher office while still supposedly performing the duties of their office, which will help determine the outcome of their own race. I realize Republicans seem to have no sense of shame —much less ethics-- when it comes to political office,
