Our whole family still quotes, “My whole life flashed before me eyes... and it was really borin’” endlessly.

Not that the US tax code being a fucking mess is news to anyone who has encountered it but, wow, the US tax code is a fucking mess. I’m pretty sure that tax credits should ideally incentivize companies to create things, rather than uncreate them.

Yup. And considering the etymology of the word "hysterical," including it in the complaint is, to say the least, tone deaf.

That they used the term “hysterical” says so much, good lord.

Eh, I have all the respect in the world for the man and his films, but Scorsese can fuck himself on this one. Build in a goddamn intermission. If every scene of your film is so important that it has be 3.5 hours long, then your choice is either building in an intermission or expecting theatergoers to miss several

“If I can help some kid go through a tough time in his life, that’s what I want to do.”

The Sweater Song is fun

Not to mention Greenwood, Gugino and Thomas are the leads in that one as well.

Is it really “easy to forget,” as the article asserts, that Justin Timberlake is a really famous popstar? And has his career really “cratered,” or “crumbled?” My sense is that it’s not especially surprisingly that a 42-year-old who has been famous for more than two decades is no longer the hottest name in music, but

In terms of animated characters, Kronk and possibly the Disney Hercules definitely deserve to be on this list.

Hercules isn’t so much an idiot, but he has that “nonthreatening female gaze” thing from the Tumblr link posted earlier down pat.

I thought the song was intended to be about being abused (and implicitly criticizing toxic relationships), rather than condoning abuse or toxicity? That said, Matchbox 20 was the first real concert I ever went to, so maybe I’m just biased.

Nah, she’s right. She’s the product. Show knows they came to see her perform and they paid money to see her perform. They didn’t pay to use her to get clicks for themselves. I think she’s absolutely right. She’s not a “content creator.” “Content” is some nebulous word for “any fucking thing anyone wants to put on the

Her own fans were the ones asserting their entitlement to filming her concerts: they paid for the privilege to be there, so they should be able to do what they want. There’s truth to that
