She was one of cable TVs pioneers, and deserves a lot more admiration for producing Faery Tale Theater, Tall Tales and Legends, and others.  Goodbye Ms. Duvall.

I was surprised and delighted at the end of the film Christopher Robin (starring Ewan McGregor) when Sherman and the Milne characters were featured at the end singing a song. His music just brings on the smiles.

Fair enough, you state up front that you’re excluding Danny Elfman, but why did you make that decision? One could argue that he set the standard.

Yes, and supposedly brilliant at it, but the writing undermined that assertion.  I stopped watching early on, even though I think Harden is a wonderful actor.

I am not a fan of contemp Christian stuff, but she is gone too young, and that’s a shame. R.I.P.

Most accurate casting, Howard DaSilva as Franklin in the film 1776.  My favorite casting, Timothy Busfield as Franklin on the TV show Sleepy Hollow.

On Stranger Ties is a movie about pirate apparel, while the one you’re thinking of is On Stranger Tides (Disney bought the rights from Tim Powers and neglected to use the contents of the book, which may account for the forgettable nature of the film.)
