I watched the first episode, gave it another chance for the second, and ran out of patience.  Todd is a jackass, and there’s no reason to care about him or his relationship with his mother.  Phooey.  I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time on this show.

Toks Olagundoye is brilliant at comedy.  I still mourn the loss of her sitcom Neighbors.

The Wonder Years was my first David Schwimmer sighting, and my affection for his puppy-eyed schlub character carried me through most Friends.

Having a prominent person makes a big difference to a marginalized community.  For deaf and hard of hearing youngsters, having someone signing the lyrics on a popular music tour would mean a lot.  I’m glad that Matlin uses her fame for the well being of others.

Toks Olagundoye doesn’t seem to get to be funny any more.  Didn’t anybody see her in Neighbors?  (Not the movie, the sitcom. I know its confusing. She played Jackie Joyner-Kersee.  Not that one.)

I clicked on this article because I like Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy, but I really got excited to see Hal Linden pop up at the beginning of this clip. I probably won’t ever see this (I don’t subscribe to Netflix) but WOW this cast.

Dean McDermott is better known for his marriage to Tori Spelling than his acting these days, but his performance as Benning’s brother in Open Range is top notch.

Movies! TV is doing a Rogers/Astaire marathon of movies all day and into the night, so acolytes of Terpsicore take note.
