Cranston and Kaczmarek and their matching dimples were adorable/horrifying. However, I just can’t imagine a Malcolm world without Cloris Leachman’s Grandma character. She was horrifying without the adorable, but she summed up the “life is unfair” vibe of the show.

the surfing scenes are gorgeous

very talented actor.  RIP

Roald Dahl is an instance where I can’t separate the art from the artist.  His bigotry and hatefulness taint all of his work for me.

Since this is performances, not just film performances, I’d like to add Jess’ mother from New Girl.  Whether she’s being parent trapped, hit on by her daughter’s infatuated room mate, or wrangling with her ex-husband, she was a perfect choice.

Of this list, Suburgatory is my favorite. Not on the list, but should be, is Popular, if only for Mary Cherry and April Tuna.  (Yes, it debuted in 1999, but it aired for 3 years, so it is within the time line.)

I had no idea of Luke Youngblood’s greatness until I saw Galavant.  Adorable as he was as Magnitude, he was really wasted on Community.

RIP

Kevin Kline played Hamlet twice in different productions, one of which he directed.  Before he became known in movies, he was a renowned Shakespearean performer for years in NYC.

Now I introduce Burt Chance from Raising Hope, who would covertly frighten his son on Halloween because he loved comforting him when he would run home. Not great parenting, but genuinely loving.

He was adorable in the recent Tales of the City update on Netflix, too.

you’re right. how about Zach Braff?

He’s the right age to have been really inspired by the Indiana Jones/The Mummy movies and Tomb Raider games.

Pohler is already in the cast, but she’d be a shoo-in otherwise for Withering Condescension. Self-absorption, obviously, should go to Mindy Kaling.

to make the play without Minelli’s character, when she sang most of the songs and they reflected her story arc, seems really ridiculous to me.

I’ve never liked his movie songs as much as his Loggins & Messina songs.  And, of course, House at Pooh Corner is one of his all time best.  Danger Zone doesn’t do it for me.

In the U.S. the Americans with Disablities Act prohibits firing because of a documented mental disability, requiring that it be accommodated if possible.

the explanation is this: she wasn’t consulted.  she wasn’t cool with it, for reasons.  she said so.  the end.  jeez...

ooh, chili can look bad enough in the bowl, but after eating...bad lunch choice.
