I remember when the Joker was going to inspire so many copycat murders and the press was wringing its hands. It never happened. The same with Grand Theft Auto 3 and a million other things. So can we stop with this crap already? Art doesn’t inspired people to do bad things and, even if it did, we shouldn’t have to…

He could act when he wanted to. He was pretty lazy, though, and often didn't put in the effort. But when he did, he could be great. 

Damn. I hate that he didn’t get to have a comeback or one last great role.

The actors in A Few Good Men have said after Jack Nicholson finished filming his part, which only required him to be on set for a few days, he stuck around to do his side of the scene, even though the camera wasn’t going to be on him. I guess that’s what professionals who give a shit about their work do.  

I was on her side until “Masihzadeh claimed in 2019 that Farhadi had her sign the rights to the story over to him, which she agreed to but later regretted.” She’s deservedly going to lose this lawsuit, which probably would have been an uphill battle even in the best of circumstance. 

I remember one of them mentioning they wrote a joke where the punchline was about the Stray Cats, but I guess he didn’t know who they were so he changed it to something else that nobody had heard of. When the joke inevitably bombed, he gave them both death stares, even though it was his fault for changing it.

Knowing that this movie was supposed to star Ryan Reynolds makes me want to see it so much more. Channing Tatum is was more suited for a role like this, with his sort of dopey face and willingness to poke giant holes in his persona (seriously: for an an actor who could have easily been pigeonholed as a hunk, I love how…

Just like the Oscar ceremony this year, you can’t even be bothered to care about the short films. So, here’s where you can find them online (most of these are free, a couple cost a few dollars)

It’s not surprising that they didn’t get what he was saying (it’s the AV Club way). He’s not apologizing for being in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice or Ghost Rider. Whatever anyone thinks of those movies (and, yeah, they both sucked), they were still real movies, with big budgets and well known co-stars.
