Dowd, while I didn’t always agree with you, I still really enjoyed reading your reviews over the years. I’m sorry for how you (and everyone else at this website) has been treated. Good luck out there. I hope you land on your feet (and that you and Iggy can find a way to do something together!)

I was going to say that the Book of Boba Fett is the first truly bad show on Disney+, then I remembered What If? So, yeah, not the first, but, oh man, is this show awful! Even though What If? was often dumb and terribly written, at least it wasn’t lazy. Everyone on Boba Fett looks like they’re about to nod off mid

I am glad she lived to see him die first

Longer than I care to admit!

If you spell out Betty on a telephone it adds up to 30, and White is 28, which equals 58. The fifth letter of the alphabet is E and the eighth one is H. Reverse that and you’ve got the initials for Herb Edelman, who played Stan on the Golden Girls. Edelman appeared on 17 episodes of St. Elsewhere.

So they’re pretending that Sebastian Stan’s character dies early in the movie. Good lord!

If an awards show doesn’t have an audience, does it make a sound?

And Sophie B Hawkins

Dracula Untold, aka the first of many attempts to make the Dark Universe happen

The trailer for the 355 makes me so mad. You get these actresses together and THIS is the material you give them? The most hackneyed and cliched garbage? I swear, I’ve already seen this exact same movie multiple times over the last few years. Who keeps letting Simon Kindberg make movies?

I’m 35, which I know is not actually old but, man, sometimes it feels like it is

I remember when it was a big deal that a Coldplay song was going to debut on the OC

Every time I see the trailer for this, it comes off like a student film rip off of the Nolan movies. Especially the interrogation scene where he yells something that’s totally unintelligible. It’s like something someone would upload to YouTube.

I gave up on What If? half way through the party Thor episode. Or, rather, I got called away in the middle of that episode and I never went back to finish it because I didn’t really care. I should probably watch the rest since there isn’t that much more to go. But still, that show was pretty terrible.

Titane wasn’t as shocking as I thought it would be. In fact, it’s a pretty sentimental movie when you get past the car fucking aspect of it. But I can see older voters not getting into it.

Not going to read this review because I don’t want spoilers, so maybe this is addressed: it’s been a long since I saw The Matrix Revolutions the one and only time. I wonder if I’ll need to revisit it to understand the new one. I’m supposed to be going on Thursday so time is short if I want to do all 3.
