I'm cut, sex feels fine, no problems at all. Every woman I've ever talked to about it prefers cut, although I'm sure there are some that don't. The fact that some people flip out over an incredibly routine procedure done in a sterile O.R. boggles me. It should absolutely be the parents choice.

As a Jew and a feminist — I'm torn. Circumcision is part of our culture — and acceptance of minority cultures is, in my mind, a feminist value. But, of course, acceptance has limits. I'm not going to defend, say, female genital mutilation just because there is a cultural basis for it. It is obviously harmful.

This was my first thought too. If you're not vaccinated, then you put many other people at risk. If you're not circumcised, you're not really putting other people at risk the same way (this is coming from a Jew who is definitely circumcising her sons).

Just noting that the mayor of Boston, Marty Walsh, and the mayor of NYC, Bill de Blasio, also boycotted/are boycotting their city's parades. The former mayor of Boston boycotted the parade for his entire 20 year run so I'm thinking (hoping!) that perhaps these big name sponsors will finally incite some change.
