In a lot of the mass market retailers/grocery stores, accepting tips is forbidden and can get the person fired if they take your offering. Which is sad because it’s nice to throw a few bucks to someone who went above and beyond. It seems like an easy way to make someone’s day.

Yes, I do agree with you, if this makes people understand the true source of their food and what it means to raise it appropriately and humanely, I am behind that 100%. Just not sure that’s what is going to happen here.

This is so ridiculous. My family has raised meat chickens...for meat. They are not coddled or given names or in any way treated as pets because they are intended to be food. They are raised humanely, and truly “free range” and treated much better and are better for you than any factory farmed bullshit. We also have

I see what you did there.

Yes. And I line the top of my crock with saran, foil or a thick kitchen towel so the condensation doesn’t make it too liquidy. So easy and delicious.

I loved doo-dads! Also the Pizza Hut buffet is going the way of the dodo, they are phasing out the last of the locations with dine-in seating in favor of the takeout stores. Verified from my Pizza Hut manager fiance. It seems so dumb because the ones in the near vicinity that still do this do good business.

What I find hilarious is that anyone thinks $75 for a dish rack is a solid deal.

I have a local chain that has honey mustard as a wing sauce option and it’s one of my favorites. It’s the only place around us that has it and it’s the one I choose every time we go there. Don’t know what it is about it but it is amazingly good.

I live in MI and there is no distribution for Tastykake in my town, but inexplicably my Wal Mart gets only their fruit pies and mini donuts, but the local dollar store will get random boxes of Krimpets and sometimes the Krimpets that are creme filled. I have gotten looks from other patrons because I squeeeee!!!!!!!!!

Starred for Gator’s Dockside....my hometown location was in Jax. Didn’t realize how much they’ve expanded!

“Does anybody really enjoy those”?!?!?! That is sometimes the ONLY reason I go to a McDonald’s, is for a giant fountain Diet Coke. No other Diet Coke compares to the fountain. Many of my friends are the same way.

You must be a Michigander! I have a few Big Boy restaurants within driving distance of my house, and they all fry to varying degrees of crispy/crunchy. It’s so disappointing to get soggy fried things.

Seconded. I live in Southern MI near the OH border and KBS is still on the shelves in most places near us. TBH the increased distribution sucked the fun out of it for me. Although it’s still a damn good beer.

Me too! I impulse grabbed some Cracker Jack at the checkout line last week and was so excited when I reached the prize-I was telling my fiance it’s a tattoo!!!! But no, It’s a QR code :( I was irrationally disappointed by it.

I grew up in Jacksonville, FL and one of the first things I want when I go home is a bag of Krystal burgers. OMG they are perfection after a night out.

Ever since I saw the chocolate chip cookie episode, I have made NOTHING but The Chewy. I will die on the Chewy hill. They are damn delicious!

Yes!!!! The dark chocolate covered marzipan they have at various holidays is to die for.

You are not alone. Not one episode and I don’t care about what I am allegedly missing.

Where did you find this magical unicorn of a dress? Fellow big girl, bigger boobs body needs to know :)

Love Eastern Market. We got the best lamb at one of the butchers there last summer. I have been waiting for the warmer weather to justify a trip there just to get some more!
