I would say also, I didn’t play Nier but I read a LP of it (with complete true ending etc) and not to spoil anything specific but it’s funny that you used the phrase emotionally manipulative about N:A which I haven’t played but that was my chief complaint about the storytelling of the original Nier, like I used that

For my friend’s birthday when he was accepted to law school, his parents, without asking him first, traded in his Cherokee (which, granted, they had also given him) for a PT Cruiser as a surprise. He asked “so, no offense, thank you and all, but can I trade it in” and his dad got really mad about it. It was incredible

Now playing

Here’s video of them advertising it on Nissans fwiw

My friend had a 90s Nissan Maxima that had this, so at least one other automaker did actually copy it, haha.  I had a 98 Continental that had it and I thought it was great, I would literally just lock my keys in the car when I went to go play hockey.

Having grown up there I have definitely heard my share of white rednecks marginalizing Lumbees, although I frankly really didn’t expect to ever see that randomly online.

Also you are wrong about one fairly important thing:

Lumbees are not federally recognized as a Tribe per se, but they are federally recognized as American Indians

Someone sent me this article because my dad was actually the co-counsel for the defense of Daniel Green, which was not the best position to be in as a 10 year old because the DA’s kids got to meet Michael Jordan and I didn’t! Anyway, Green got life and is seeking a new trial

I was born and raised in Lumberton. Lumbees are definitely not black. Also, go fuck yourself.

That was actually Rick Ankiel trying to throw it back in
