Or philosophical discussions about how some children's lives are more valuable to preserve than others (the ones saved as part of social good?)

Yes - nurses are very good at maneuvering patients larger than themselves.

Or just as Kevin Jr went to the Other Place twice, perhaps Kevin Sr. got a peek into the Other Place as well.

Matt wasn't foiled, though, not in the long run. He lost the church, true, but he still had the cash - which enabled him in the long run to live in Jarden, where Mary woke up. Matt would probably rather have Mary awake, and with a son, than the church, which is just a building.

Kevin Jr is 48 years old.

I think you were definitely supposed to wonder what was real or not: although Aussie guy on the bridge in "I Live Here Now" did tell Kevin Jr that the Other Place was definitely real, I think he said something like "as real as it gets."

I wonder though if Sunday foresaw his own death: he gave his help conditionally, only if Kevin Sr would fix the swamp cooler first.

I felt like Sunday foresaw his own death.

It's terrifying, and feels very close to home.

I really appreciate this perspective. Was the red-headed Australian liaison lady as clueless and condescending as she appeared to be?

People treat it as a game theory exercise, but they don't think of another option: that the people who want you to kill the baby can't deliver on the cancer cure at all; they just want you to commit an act that commits you to them (because now you've passed the "initiation" and you have it on your conscience.)

I've had cancer, a kind with pretty terrible stats overall. I've been lucky so far but the overhanging cloud never vanishes.

It's the key to the whole game.

Looked to me like they were building a (small) ark.

I think they were Grace's children (with a few others added to the mix.)

That's the right answer: what was also terrible about that scene was that VW guy was willing to kill himself over giving the right answer but not getting picked.

Look at all the mudslinging about "cucks" in the recent election, and the racial hatred behind it. Or when Dylan Roof murdered all those people because of "our white women." I understand the production reasons for eliminating those story elements; I don't agree with it though.

Some alleged redpill type attacked women at Transylvania University recently. Then there's the Ecole Polytechnic killings of women engineering students in 1989; the Elliot Roger shooting in Santa Barbara, and google turns up more. These types would jump at the chance to join a militia, just like the "droogs" in A

Not to mention all the adhoc volunteers, like the recent attack at Transylvania College by an alleged redpiller.

I'm calling my reps Monday. Again. All of them.
