Don't forget Caprica. ;-)

What what?

Not any kind of love I recognize.

I liked the 2008 Passengers.

After reading the spoiler-space link, no.

Why *is* the place outfitted like a luxury hotel if everybody is supposed to be in cryo-sleep?

They don't show female nipples. George Clooney was bare-butt in the remake of Solaris; that got an R initially but it was appealed down to a PG-13.

That's right. Two people who were the only ones alive would probably end up killing each other, or hating each other at least.

Bingo. An engineer would have a better chance of figuring out how to get both of them back into hibernation. It would still probably really piss off the person who was intentionally revived, though.

I liked her in Winter's Bone.

Until they achieve sentience, and then, watch out. (I saw AI!)

You mean, mutual suicide? Because that's how R&J ends.

I'm kind of on team Lilith here.

Avalon is bad enough.

Not if she's going to get stoned or otherwise killed for not wearing it.

No, it is exactly equivalent to the guy who kidnaps a woman and keeps her in the basement.

By this reasoning they should go out and kidnap somebody, maybe she'll "love" them.

He was a smart guy. He could have read some manuals instead of hanging out in the bar, and figured out how to put himself in the hibernation pod which he later offers to Aurora. Problem solved.

It wasn't consensual, any more so than anyone else who is kidnapped.

Isn't he alone for like a year or something? Plenty of time to read manuals - he is supposed to be mechanically inclined, after all. Not sure why he'd have to wait for a non-techie journalist to tell him that.
